Under Construction - 2006/11/14 08:18 Welcome!

As you can see, this web site is in the initial stages of construction.

So far I've published the Constitution, a home page, these forums and some menu items for things like news letters.

Yes! The site template needs its graphics sorted out, those are coming :)

Anyone and everyone is welcome to take part.

So get registered and let us know what you'd like to do.

Cheers Don

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently working on so many different projects that my time is fairly devided.

Feel free to let us know what content you would like to see on the site.

Re:Under Construction - 2010/08/14 11:01 Hi there site admins.

This a great resource, however just one question...

Is the CRRA Inc sponsored by Westfield, Hoyts, the CCC Libarary, NZ Police, The owners of the Windmill centre and the CCC indoor pool?

Somehow I do not think this is the case and therefore I ask if you have asked the registered owners of these brands, trademarks for their usuage on your website. If possible proof of their consent to have their unnoficial endorsement associated with your association.

Good thinking in trying to represent the community through the pictures, however an association such as yours does need to remain neutral.

May I suggest a rebrand of your website to include generic photos of the area and not so much about showing the businesses and facilitys.

I have also read the minutes of the June 2010 meeting and I was appauled at the professionalisim in writting of these, espcially on the piece of Westfields submission for a new sign and the comment regarding a rugby player. This did not need to be in the minutes. Something more constructive could have been written, such as 'lighting spillage, saftey in terms of blocking view of traffic, asthetic design in the area it is in. I do not think a residents association should be playing the card of "Whats best for the communitys eyes". Advertising and freedom of speech go hand in hand.... I personally think advertisments that lure people to rack up credit are far more shocking than a advert for mens underwear. Futhermore the minutes of your meeting and disscussions held should represent the community and not individual opions.

Just my thoughts and I thank you for listening. I have recently moved into the area from the lower north island and I look forward to joining your association in due course.
